In February 2006, we spent a week in a converted ex-British Rail carriage at Coalport Station in Shropshire. We took Kathryn's Mum Margaret for a well earned break.
Coalport Station is part of the world famous Ironbridge heritage site. The carriage itself can be hired via this website: http://coalportstation.com. We can recommend the purchase of the Family Passport ticket which, for a reasonable sum, gives access to ten museums and sites of interest in the area.
